DPAC Executive Nomination: Karen Tsang

Karen Tsang has been nominated to the DPAC Executive by the Lord Byng PAC. Her nomination will be voted on at our AGM on June 20, 2019. In her own words:

I am Karen Tsang. I am a writer/editor and for the past 15 years have been actively working on issues surrounding Indigenous People / Canadian relationships with the goal of fostering a better understanding of the issues blocking reconciliation. I'm interested in serving on the executive of the DPAC as they strengthen the processes of advocating with and for families and PACs. I would like to offer my skills to DPAC, and at the same time learn from the existing DPAC executives who have been working toward this goal for the past several years. My eldest daughter is in grade 10 at Charles Tupper, my middle daughter is attending the theatre program within Byng Arts Mini, my son is in grade 6 at General Brock in the French Intensive program.
